American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a not-for-profit membership organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, career enrichment, and skill development across all engineering disciplines. Founded in 1880 by a small group of leading industrialists, ASME has grown through the decades to include more than 120,000 members in over 140 countries around the globe. India comes under District G (Asia-Pacific) of this large community. India has made its presence known with around 200+ strong student sections spread across India. In south India, there are around 30+ student chapters.

Students can get around 150+ KTU activity points for taking an ASME membership. ASME also offers a wide range of scholarships and grants for the students. By joining the community one can make use of the various resources like access to journals, magazines, newsletters, ASME job board + career center which features jobs and internships and many more.

15 student Members +Faculty Member( Chapter Advisor)
