ASME FISAT proudly hosted a tech talk on the 31st of October, 2019 led by Dr. Sabu Sebastian F. NPOL(Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory), DRDO.
The event emphasized on professional development encouraging interaction between students throughout the session, the primary aspect being FATIGUE FAILURE . The attendees were enlightened by the vibrant thoughts and facts that the chief guest delivered. The talk was open to all Mechanical students in the institute.
The session focused on improving the technical skills of students and how to go about it. Dr. Sabu enlightened on the working processes of DRDO and importance of technical knowledge at the organization. He also focused on how our verbal skills can improve our professional life. The students were pretty well inspired by the talk which gave rise to various doubts in their curious minds. He culminated professional values in the attendees which aroused the minds of both the faculty and students of the institute.
The session ended with a fabulous Q & A session which gave rise to thoughtful questions and meaningful answers. This enhanced the quality of interaction between the chief guest and the students. The attendees made it a point to absorb each and every word put in by Dr. Sabu, increasing their potential to survive in today’s era. A quiz competition was also conducted as a part of this seminar challenging the engineer brains of mechanical students. The winners were announced at the end of the session followed by the chief guest doing the honors. The chief guest was honored by the Head of Mechanical Department for delivering the highly informative session and for the individual he is.
