ASME’s International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE) is the largest interdisciplinary mechanical engineering conference in the world. IMECE plays a significant role in stimulating innovation from basic discovery to translational application. It fosters new collaborations that engage stakeholders and partners not only from academia, but also from national laboratories, industry, research settings, and funding bodies.
7 students represented Mechanical Department FISAT attended the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE) 2018 which took place at David L Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania USA from 9th to 11th of November 2019.
Team Endurance competed in the International finale of Student Design Competition (SDC). They represented FISAT and India among the other top teams around the globe. They made into the quarter finals of Robbo soccer competition, which was this year’s task.

Abijith J Kumar, Zonal Representative ASME INDIA (ZONE 8) and Vice chairman ASME FISAT CHAPTER attended ASME’s Student Leadership Training Conference. He went through a series of training programmes and sessions by ASME Global leaders, along with very few selected students from different countries. Abijith is also shortlisted for prestigious Charles T. Main award by ASME.
