Students Association of Mechanical Engineers
SAME is an organization in the department of mechanical engineering at the Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT). It is a parent organization that holds the International student chapters of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Automobile Engineers (SAE).
American Society of Mechanical Engineers (FISAT Student Chapter)
The ASME is a professional association that, in its own words, “promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences.” The members of ASME FISAT chapter strive to create an environment of knowledge sharing and learning to grow together as a student section and as future engineers.
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) FISAT Chapter
SAE chapter aims to provide its community with the latest advancements in the automotive sector. A non-profitable student organization affiliated to SAE INDIA, India’s leading resource for mobility technology. SAE is the second International student organization in the Mechanical Engineering Department of FISAT.
SDC club or Student Design Competition Club aims at providing a fun-filled opportunity for the students to broaden their knowledge in fields like robotics, electronics, programming, mechanics, design, manufacturing etc. The club members will also be able to participate in the International Student Design Competition, conducted by ASME.
